Parking is free for ASGA hotel guests and conference attendees.
LOWER COST HOTEL
ASGA chose a hotel near the New Orleans airport to make it super convenient and inexpensive for students and advisors traveling from across the country. The hotel sleeping room and food costs are much lower than in the French Quarter, and parking is free!
FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE
The ASGA hotel is across the street from the airport. It has a free shuttle that will take you to and from the airport.
GOING TO THE FRENCH QUARTER?
If you want to go sightseeing, you will need to take an airport shuttle, Uber or Lyft, or get a rental car/van. The hotel is about 13 miles from the French Quarter in New Orleans.
Viator is an option. A van can take your group from the hotel to the French Quarter and back.
Uber and Lyft are inexpensive in New Orleans.
An airport shuttle is available to the French Quarter for about $24 per person ($44 per person roundtrip).

In March the average day-time highs are 60-80 degrees and the average evening temperatures range from as low as 40-50 degrees. Meeting rooms may be cool due to air conditioning.

If it would take you more than eight hours to drive to this conference, ASGA recommends that you consider flying. If you choose to travel by air, we recommend that you fly into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).
